Flemish Red Brown Beer
Originating from the region of Oudenaarde-Zottegem, this beer is slightly sweet and sour and has a subtle, nut-like character. It is created by a blend of old (1 to 2 years) and young beer, matured in lager tanks. In this sense, it is also a mixed fermenting beer. This blend guarantees a constant flavour and re-fermentation is possible. The alcohol ranges from 4,5-8% alcohol volume.
