White Beers

Belgian white beer - or wheat beer - is a high fermented beer type. The mash of Belgian wheat beer contains unmalted wheat (30%), sometimes blended with oat. During the boiling process, coriander and orange peels (Curacao) may be added to the wort, resulting in the typical, refreshing flavour. Belgian white beers are usually not filtered and slightly turbid. The alcohol volume is between 5 to 6%.
