Amber Beer / Speciale Belge

Amber beer was launched after World War I as the “English style beer of victory”. The specific amber colour is produced by the use of colour or cara(mel) malts. The density and alcohol content of amber beer can be compared to those of Pilsner, although a number of degustation beers with a higher alcohol content (from 6 to 12 % alcohol volume) have been developed over the past few years.
